Earning a spot in the top 50 is one of my favorite breakout bands in the past year, The 1975. This single peaked at #2 during the first months of 2013 in my daily countdown and is still on regular rotation on my playlist. To all the fans of this band, you can still look forward for another entry from them in the succeeding updates.

 | 44. AVICII – Wake Me Up (24.31%)
Avicii makes his final appearance in the top 50 with his worldwide smash, “Wake Me Up”. The song also won the favorite EDM single of 2013. Not a bad year for this guy, ha? Furthermore, this song was also performed in different reality shows already, from The Voice and X Factor which is a refection of how huge this song is.

 | 43. ARIANA GRANDE – Baby I (24.83%)
Ariana already topped my Best Albums of 2013 with her debut effort “Yours Truly” and here she is again having another entry in the top 100. 2013 is definitely a great year for her. This follow-up to “The Way” may underperform in the US chart, but it certainly did not in my daily countdown. I can’t wait for her next album already.

 | 42. MILEY CYRUS – Wrecking Ball (24.97%)
Controversial queen of 2013 appears for the final time with a song and music video that wrecked records. “Wrecking Ball” is one of my favorite Miley Cyrus songs. It’s the kind of song that even my young innocent neighbors jam to. It is an indication of despite how her image was not well-received by many, she still managed to successfully relay her music to a lot of people.

 | 41. TAYLOR SWIFT – I Knew You Were Trouble (25.12%)
Taylor will not release an album without a major smash. This song was one of the biggest hits during the first quarter of 2013. “Trouble” is the kind of the song that never gets old. Every time a radio station would play it this 2014, many people will for sure still sing along with it. This is not her last appearance in the list.
