Selena Gomez sat down with Eva magazine to spill details on her new album and reveal a surprise collab. "With the writing and production, there was a few people I just felt comfortable with, and worked on a lot of songs with, so when it came time to choose the tracklist, pretty much every song was with that group of people." Who exactly was this elite group of people, you ask? "Jhene (Aiko) co-wrote a lot, Elijah Blake wrote a lot, Pia Mia wrote a lot, we actually have a song together. Lana wrote a ton too. It was just a lot of creative people working together to put together an amazing album."
"In a way, I feel like this is my best album, but then again, my albums are all so different so it's hard to compare. Fantasy was very pop. Reincarnate was very urban. I think Reincarnate was better than Fantasy. So it's like I progress with every album. I feel like this is my creative album. My most innovative. My most mature and inspired. It's just very - different.
"Jhene actually helped me write a song I have with Adele, called The Ruins." When we asked what "The Ruins" was about she gave a simple answer - destruction.

Well, Huga, I responded to your PM, so you know the answer, but...
Remix EPs, as albums, are free. They count as promo, so you can add them to your promo list, etc. etc., but if you wanna release a remix as a standalone piece (Like, what happened in real life with "Summertime Sadness"), you'll have to pay another 5 points and release the remix as a single. Though, the benefit of this is that if the remix does well, it can give the original version a boost, and vice versa, so you'll be getting more points, just as you would with two singles, but they sort of help each other.

Though, you can make live performances, such as a random Madison Square Garden appearance, or have a TV special or unplugged performance, etc. It just can't be on any official TV show (MTV Unplugged doesn't count; you could do something like that).

Christina Aguilera debuts Freedom lyric video
The singer finally released her lyric video on VEVO. It begins with the painting shown which can also give illusions to the people watching the video, but it also shows some buildings. Several other pics with illusions were shown while the lyrics were shown on the screen.
In the end, the cover was shown along with a link to buy it from iTunes. The fans on twitter said that they liked the whole video and its artistry. Christina also went on twitter to announce the release of the lyric video:

Freedom gets commercial on YouTube
Christina's newest single Freedom just got a commercial on YouTube. It's gonna be played before some videos to give the song more popularity. If the people click on it, they'll be sent to the lyric video. Since the moment when this was put on YouTube, the song got 1.000.000 more views than before. It also helped the single rise on iTunes. We should expect two more commercials coming this week: one for Versace and another one for the single (this time on TV).

Freedom gets remixed
The single has got a Remix EP which features 4 new remixes, and the single of course.
Tracklist:

The EP is priced for 6$ and it'll help the single rise on the charts, but also to spread the word about it. The singer stated that she'll try to make some sales to go for the charity too, in her foundation "I Am A Fighter".

"I FEEL IT" TEASER UPLOADED TO VEVO
The teaser for Justin Bieber's newest single, "I Feel It (Holiday Spirit)" has been uploaded to his official VEVO account. The video features him inside of a Christmas shop, with workers and elves involved "feeling the Holiday spirit". It's also a little rumor for the little kids, that Santa Clause makes a star-studded cameo inside of the music video - but we'll have to wait until a few days. In a few days the whole music video will premiere, and the premiere we learned will be on TRL from Justin who tweeted so today. The premiere will be supposedly Thursday at 8 P.M. EST. The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, and according to Bieber "took 14 hours to make because we had to do the whole time it was dark outside, for Holiday spirit". Bieber although said he still enjoyed the music video and making it, and it'll definitely go down as one of his favorites.

JUSTIN OPENS MARY J BLIGE'S CHRISTMAS TOUR
R&B legend, Mary J Blige who recently released her Christmas album -- "A Mary Christmas" started a country wide tour, and did so with Pop Star Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber was a surprise guest, and as he came to stage the audience bursts into shock and applause. Justin came onto stage and then performed "All I Want For Christmas Is You" with Mary J Blige as part of the surprise. After he performed with her, he then performed his new single -- "I Feel It (Holiday Spirit)". The audience loved his performance and was glad he lit up the show by surprise, then at the end he came out and performed "Jingle Bell Rock" with Mary J. Blige as apart of a special encore.

JUSTIN GOES ON THE VIEW
Justin stopped by the #1 Talk Show for the Middle Aged Women of America -- "The View"! He stopped by as the extra guest, as he was announced to appear last week. His appearance was widely hyped for, as his previous appearance months ago was their highest rated episode of the whole year. He didn't perform, but he sat down and talked with them about his newest album -- "Christmas Weekend". He said it was fun for all ages, and had some very gushy and great Christmas songs and covers on them. He talked about the creative process, who made most of the album with him, and his favorite cuts from the album. They showed the teaser of the "I Feel It (Holiday Spirit)" video. They also asked did he have anything outside the video planned for fans, and he answered "Yes, I will be premiering a few more new things as the Holidays approach in to get them even more hyped!". Justin also then talked about what he planned on doing after the Holidays, then he had to leave.

Today, NBC announced that Justin Bieber would be the superstar this year to do the annual Christmas tree lighting. Each year they have a superb star come and turn on the lights to the Christmas tree, then place the star on top. Along with this, if the star is a singer -- they will usually perform some songs! We don't know what Justin's tracklist will be yet, but it's sure to be in Christmas spirit with his newest album "Christmas Weekend" now in stores. If you haven't heard yet, also be sure to listen to his new single "I Feel It (Holiday Spirit)" which is most likely to be performed at the event. The event brings in millions of viewers nationwide every year, which also results in huge sales increases for the artists involved. Bieber will be sure to have the Holiday spirit!

ABC Special: A Festive Night With Selena Gomez
Tonight, ABC will be airing a Selena Gomez holiday special that mixes Selena's new project with holiday cheer. Similar to Lady Gaga's Thanksgiving special, it'll basically be a big dinner party with stripped performances and celebrity guests. In addition to performing, Selena will also be cooking with her friends, mother and Rachel Ray. Who'll be in attendance? Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, Pia Mia, the Kardashian/Jenner sisters, Lindsay Lohan, Chris Brown, Drake, Lana Del Rey, Ariana Grande, Ashley Benson, Rihanna and many more. Selena commented on the guest list saying "I really wanted people that were close to me to be there, so it could really have that family feel."
Selena will be premiering a new track from her new album entitled "Red Love" that features Pia Mia. The song's described as "an extremely pretty power ballad, that was written from the heart and for girls to relate too." Selena personally said "This song is a song that'll really grab you and make you think of that one guy. We all have that one guy. The one we regret but we don't. The one that changed your life, and was your best and worst experience. This one's definitely for my girls." She also called it her "prettiest song sonically" and it "speaks of heartbreak without being too heavy." She describes as "one of my best". "It's kind of like Mariah's My All. But a sad version. You gave him your all, and he took it and broke it. But somehow you don't hate him or regret the time you spent together. And if you had to give your love to someone, your happy it was him. But you've also moved on. It's complicated. You'll get it when you listen!" she laughed.

Cher Lloyd performs at NBA Halftime Show
Cher Lloyd just performed her latest single called You & I, which was released worldwidely on last Sunday, during NBA's Halftime Show in Nokia Theatre, where about 7000 people came to watch the game and Cher, too. During this past week, Cher was teasing about her special performance at the halftime show, and she actually served really amazing, energetic and awesome, that consisted a lot of dancers, hard choreography, special light effects, fire effects, and also a live band. There was a lot of dancing, jumping, and everything just looked really fun. Cher performed really well, but sometimes she looked like out of breath, because she was doing a dance routine too, so during moments like that, backing vocals would help her out with that. Audience seemed to be enjoying this show, and Cher was pleased with how people reacted to her performance.

You & I video's behind the scenes was uploaded on Cher's VEVO channel got uploaded today. The music video was shot in early November 2013 in the New York. The directors were Jonas & François, who had also directed music videos for Iggy Azalea and some other pop girls. The video was set in an empty warehouse, according to various gossip sites, somewhere in New York, and it was also showed Cher Lloyd posing for the cameras in different postures, including dancing, lying, standing, and sitting on a swing with a beautiful, black dress. Sometimes she was accompanied by female dancers performing some ballet-like moves. Strip lights which are hanging on the ceiling illustrates You & I lyrics.
"You & I was actually supposed to be a bit of a moody song, because those lyrics aren't that fun, but yeah... It's a song about being lonely, even if there are people around you, for example, the club, or a street - there are people around you, but you still feeling lonely, and then there's someone in that crowd, that makes you feel special no matter what, and you just watch that person, how he moves, how he smiles, and suddenly, everything feels... right once again, and it's like nobody else exists for you, just you and that person. So that's what You & I is. And I hope my fans will understand the meaning of it. And also, the video is really really simbolic, but I feel like the message is more important, so we, me and directors, decided to just focus on a message and make a simple video, without a lot of scenes and places. Just really, really simple video. But I hope my fans will like it, as much as I like it too."

Taylor Swift Calls BBC Radio 1
Taylor Swift called BBC Radio 1 from The US for a special interview covering her comeback. She talked about what she expected from this era, and that she was designing the bottle of her upcoming bottle at the moment. She also talks with UK fans through the station, all being very excited to talk with her. She then sang acoustic versions of her songs. She sang "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" first, before singing ""Back To December" and ended with her lastest singke "Moonlight". She then read a list of winners of a competition made by BBC for meet & greet packages with Taylor.

Taylor Swift just announced a brand new way to promote herself, her singles and her albums. A total amount of 6 blimps will promote and be flying billboards who will fly on each continent. Blimp #1 will be flying in North America, #2 in Europe, #3 in Asia, #4 in Australia, #5 in South America and #6 will fly in South Africa. Taylor will be launching the blips from Los Angeles tomorrow morning and asked her fans to tweet and spread pictures of the blimps with the hashtag #TaylorBlimps. The pictures might be retweeted by Taylor and the fans who have been retweeted might get a meet & greet package with Taylor!

Buzz Records (formerly Blue Flame Records) is back, signs Bastille
(I was in the ER last night so I couldn't do promo  )

Interviewer: "Welcome! It's a pleasure to have you guys sit down and chat."
Bastille: "No problem, it's great to be here."
Interviewer: "So, why did you guys switch labels?"
Bastille: "We felt restricted at EMI. We feel that we can gain more creative freedom by switching. To have a choice in the next single, to choose the songs on your album, it makes all the difference."
Interviewer: "What's your new single called?"
Bastille: "It's called "Maybe It's Better", and it's coming tomorrow, Wednesday! We're so hyped!

Taylor Swift sings "Moonlight" on MTV Unplugged
(I've seen robbie saying this is an exception so i snatched)
Taylor swift appeared on MTV show "MTV Unplugged" to perform her latest single as well as other songs. She first started her performance by singing her "Fearless" song "You're Not Sorry". The performance was beautiful with only the piano playing in the background. She then sang "Back To December" and "Speak Now" acoustically with her playing on the guitars. The final song on her small setlist was of course "Moonlight" her latest single. She sang it with lot's of emotion and cried some small tears of joy while singing it. She then thanked MTV for having her and asked the audience to buy the song on ITunes and to tune in to her live from Nashville concert on ABC.
