The statistics and retirement doesn't even mean anything anymore because they went from 65 day runs to only 40 days to retire. It's a disappointment.
totally agree back in the day when a video retired on TRL is was a special moment but now they don't even do retirement plaques anymore when Justin & xtina retired a few days ago where was their retirement plaques? They got so lazy that they don't do retirement plaques anymore
Does anyone remember what TRL was like in 1999, 2000, the golden years? Im a little young and I didnt know TRL existed back then. So can anyone fill me in on how it went because it sounds like people liked it better than this.
^they had a 65 day rule i think, carson daly was the host, BSB and N´sync owned the charts and c/d and it was christinas and britney´s breakthrough year!....some of the reasons i think!

and it's a shame that 106 & Park (BET) is having a show and TRL isn't they should just shut the whole thing down because it doesn't seem like they like coming to work.
