July 10th 2014: Alexandra survives against Country Music

This past week I went to celebrate the 4th of July with my good friend Sean. Sean and I went out to a beach town/city, pretty much ate, studied, ate, and watched fireworks for 2 days. Its kind of our thing to do together so I remain unbothered by the outcome of our trip. I also visited some family as well in this time of my past week.
Chart Analysis
When I got the official tally of the most played songs, I was shocked to see this song vault to #1. Now no doubt is This Love Will Survive by Alexandra Burke is a good song, however it is Start Without You's time to shine now Its not fair . Anyways so I got the top 2 dedicated to Alexandra Burke thanks to the extra attention I am giving Alexandra's work thanks to Pedro's game
As for another pattern to recognize, this week is one of the few weeks where I have very few re-entries. Its probably because I turned a new leaf and stuck to my main playlist of songs to enjoy this week. Some weeks i like a variety of older and newer songs, but this week just stuck with the new music
In some big movers on my chart, All of Me by John Legend was able to jump from the bottom of the chart to the near top parts of it! Another big mover is one of the longest running Britney Spears songs on my countdown Ooh La La by Britney Spears, which reached a new peak this week.
One other trend is the strong presence of Country Music in within the upper tier of the countdown , from plenty of Luke Bryan to Beat of the Music, all songs were impressive in the top part becoming a stronger country music top 10 as opposed to years past.
