This song brings back a LOT of nostalgic memories. This song was one of the songs I remember hearing a lot while on the bus heading to and from school, along with other late 90's songs such as "When The Lights Go Out" and "Never Ever". One thing that I have to constantly remind myself of is the fact that this song reached #1. I always thought that it was a #2 single, for some reason.

The first song in the top 100 to be on more than two ballots, "Little Red Corvette" made the list on the strength of three smaller rankings. The change in the point system had a huge hand in helping this song make the list. Under the old point system, this song would not have even broken 15 points. There are two Prince songs still to come, but this one is a personal favorite. Fun fact: This is the only song in this set that did not reach #1 on the Hot 100.

This would happen to be the song that I was referring to as "one of my personal favorite songs of the 90's". 15 years later, whenever this song comes on the radio, I can't help but rap along with Biggie Smalls. This still has one of the most awesome samples in rap music, altering the beat of "Rise" by Herb Alpert in spectacular fashion. I am now regretting not placing this song on my own list. Let's move on.

Fun fact: This is one of the first songs that I ever fell in love with. Part of it (okay, most of it) has to do with my fanatical love of Batman Forever at the time, and that song and "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" by U2 really captured my imagination in a way that few songs have since, even after I became such a big music buff.

I will always remember the music video for this song, showcasing the absolutely stunning looks of Toni Braxton as much as possible. The song's not too shabby, either, with a powerhouse vocal performance, complete with a powerful last chorus. I will say this, though: I still like "You're Makin' Me High" more.
Next up: Songs 90-86. And guess what that means? IT'S TIME FOR TIDBITS AND HINTS~!
- Three songs from the 90's and two songs from the 70's are found within this coming set.
- Four of the five artists will have at least one other song on the list after this set.
- The song from the artist with just one song in the top 100 came on strong to make the list late.
- One of the artists has already appeared on the list.
- The next appearance by two of the artists in this coming set will have their next (and last) appearance occur VERY quickly after this next set.
Have fun guessing. I hope to get 90-86 up tonight, but I am not making any promises.
