And the sad thing is...that is true. And the music isnt even good, its the labels that pay for these artist to have hits on the radio. No one requests them and even wants to hear them but as long as sony and arista continue to shell out money for them, they will have #1 hits for years to come

But alot of people are requesting "Burn" and "Naughty girl" on the radio.
They both have being no. 1 on the requesting shows.

For today beyonce has 139.1 while usher's burn has 139.3
beyonce right now is on usher's feet cause she's only .2 of a million behind.

Hoobastank is now #4 on CHR/Pop and #4 on Hot AC. They should be #3 on Hot AC by tomorrow!

I just wish radio would be open to playing more artists and a larger variety of music, rather than always jumping on the same artists repeatedly.

I agree, 'cept for the jacking odd comment lol. I am officially tired Beyonce and Usher, and to think 50 Cent was enough is just crazy. I miss having Ashanti having mega-hits and many other artists too. I also feel bad for all these new artists and acts from 2003, none of them went platinum, with the acception of BEP,Maroon 5,Chingy,Evanescence,50 Cent, and...Beyonce. Hopefully 2004 is an awesome year.

I don't know if any new acts are going to go platinum this year.
It feels like only the established artists are going to go platinum this year like Avril, D12...and the list can go on.
