I don't think it'll be a guaranteed smash though. Look what happened to Can't Remember To Forget You. You can't just get a hit based on the power of the names alone anymore. But let's hear the song first and see what happens.

This is so true. Loosely judging from that snippet i don't really forsee this going #1, it will probably debut top 10 though due to ariana, which isn't that bad.

My gut feeling. There are other things that lead me to believe this won't go #1 as well, along with that 2 second snippet of lyrics.

If were talking about a US #1
- Break Free was recently released, and i can see it blocking it from #1
- Jessie J's US appeal isn't what is used to be (was never much to begin with).
- If the song is even slightly dull, it will probably result in a CRTFY situation.
- Alot of times big collaborations have huge hype and drop quick. (My life by 50 cent, once again CRTFY)

Obviously there are ponts that counteract eachother, but i really don't expect this to go #1. And that is OK.

I agree with you, but no way is Break Free going to be #1. Rude or Stay With Me will probably be #1 when the song is released.

I wouldn't look too much into the snippet either, as it doesn't really tell us about the song. I remember before Wild was release Jessie did an acoustic performance of it somewhere and it very different to the actual song.
