She has songs on that album that are Hip-Pop, Hip-Hop, and even some R&B influences amongst the tracks. However, on PF:RR the genres seem seperated, and barely merge together, having Roman Reloaded, and Roman in Moscow (Hip-Hop songs with not many other influences) and also having Starships and Turn Me On (dance-pop songs). The closest thing to merging the genres on PF:RR (from what we've been given) is Stupid Hoe, but that is much more Hip Hop than it is Pop.

hmm idek that i was considered annoying and dangerous to construct a album like that (pf:rr) i hope it all works out :/ maybe that two disc idea seems smart right now

Because Nicki took even a higher genre separation on her sophomore album. Yes on Pink Friday she did merge several genres, but she didn't went to far, like completely trying the dance genre a la 'Turn Me On', or now going dubstep with this Skrillex song or peaceful with this Enigma song.
I really believe that when Nicki described the album as 'FREEDOM' it's cause she was finally free to do the music she wanted to make, with no genre restrictions, appealing to all of her fanbases around the world.

To be honest, it could happen. just not now. I think Onika would be down for it if Kim would apologize & they make up, but Kim is a bitter girl so idk

Hm, true. That makes me reconsider my previous post and now a Pink Friday release in 6 years doesn't sound too bad.

Kim is too bitter and would never let that happen..
I think it would be a smart selling strategy, sort of all these 'Rihanna-CB' reunion..
Twitter and the music world would go crazy for a Kim and Nicki collaboration...
... but pride comes into play. And they're both too bitter to actually think this could work benefically for both of them.

But they're both so damn good! I mean Wanna Minaj the remix of Freaky girl that she did on her mixtape was amazing!
It would be so controversial! Everyone would die for it, honestly, the baddest bitches in the game on one track

I would so be here for this collabo as well, what I mean is I truly can't see this happening in at least this decade.
When Kim calls asking her for a collab, she's gonna be like:

Yep. The fact that it will appeal many genres, will make it easier for fans or the general public to at least like a couple of tracks on the album.
In a few words: This is gonna slay our souls.

As Rihanna lost several Navy members and respect all around the globe for her collaboration with Chris, you may just imagine how many people would feel Nicki has lost credibility once she collaborates with Kim.
That's when I'll call her a sellout. Not now.

i agree completely because in my opinion i find hilarious because to me nicki doesnt want to be just labeled as a "Rapper" she going for the title artist "artist" and many people cant accept that AT ALL. i think this album is def going to help people see her as a artist with the genre and production mayhem! i love this roman theme he's so nontraditional and all over the place. he gives no ****s!
this album is going to be epic and game changing imo

I would so be here for a joint/collaboration album from Kim and Nicki.
Like, only hardcore hip-hop beats, with Nicki and Kim taking jabs at each other in each verse.
It would slay the Urban charts for years to come, and take the concept of 'dissing' to a whole new level.
Oh.. wishful thinking...

4. DAVID GUETTA - Turn Me On f/Nicki Minaj: 103.252 (+ 1.213)
NICKI MINAJ - Starships: 38.484 (+ 1.021)
about turn me on still slaying !?
and starships is doing excellent
i assume roman reloaded is playing it's part as well for the urban single
in the last 24 hours, starships has sold 15,164 + 2,680 copies and roman reloaded has sold and turn me on has sold: 8,290
R.R. fell out of the top 100 on itunes
