The fact is despite Beyoncé's power she's not doing anything positive for herself by not putting the stuff on Vevo/Spotify/AM or properly doing promotion. Michael Jackson was a legend and still did this stuff properly. Like I get it, she's a mother and on a stadium tour but you can maintain a whole era these days just by putting videos on YouTube/streaming and it's that simple. There's absolutely no reason why they don't.. and she's clearly willing to do promo when it suits her because we've had the Super Bowl recently.

Being a legend doesn't mean dropping an album once every 2 and a half years and saying no more. I've always defended letting the music speak for itself and agreeing she's above singles etc but there's nothing to gain by avoiding it, only something to lose.

Music (songs) are an artists legacy. & although when it is all said & done no one will remember if a song went #1 or #23, Beyoncé is making it hard to remember the song altogether.

RTW has become a signature Beyoncé song. & whether people liked it or not, despite the chart success, people KNOW that song, because she made it known. Days are gone of the performance promo machine from 2011, but we've come a long way since then where simple things like VEVO & Spotify could have the same effect.

No one is here for underground eras & Beyoncé isn't either. If she was then why do HBO? Why do Super Bowl? At this point let's call it what it is, half-assed.

sorry I guess for wanting more for her? It's one thing to not care and I get that bc I couldn't care less either when all is said and done but at the same time, if an opportunity [two at that] is literally staring you right in the eye and you do nothing about it, then.... okay? It's not even just the VEVO or Spotify thing for me. Just her overall "**** it!" attitude when it comes to everything. surprise album + tour, no performances, no interviews, not even a damn BTS doc this time. There's nothing wrong with wanting someone as talented and driven as Beyoncé to live up to her potential. Yes, some of you may be of the opinion that she's out to prove a point or whatever, and defend her from other people's frustrations, but I feel as if in this case at least, it goes at odds with what it means to be a fan.

It's lame, but as a fan surely you want the masses to see what you see in said artist, or their recent work (which at the end of the day, adds to their legacy). You want them to reach new heights in all areas if possible, and Beyoncé is fortunate for that to be a possibility, but as of late she's squandering it - hence the frustration.

Art is selfish, yes, but it's also for everyone, and when I say that I don't mean she should give it away for free, but at the very least she can do more in the way of enabling other people to have the opportunity to enjoy her music and connect with whatever message she's trying to spread.

What she's doing at the moment won't be sustainable long-term.

TBH all I want are performances. I know she’s on tour but I want some televised performances. That is her greatest asset, and she’s performed like 5 times in the last 3 years, and that’s when she has had her best album of her career.

You are making music, so let your music reaches as many people as possible.
Yes, she's a legend, she can do whatever she wants. But it's still better to let people enjoy your music the way they want/ prefer.
