Wait a F'ing minute......I'm just three songs in and Desperado is slaying me and her Spanish singing in Gimme a Chance is on point.....like if her previous label hadn't F'ed her over this overdue album couldve gotten the proper exposure.....either way I'm impressed!
I think the surprise release was a good idea. After all this time, it's actually generating a lot of hype and I hope it drives people to buying it and giving her a chance A classic era wouldn't work, people weren't interested in a CT video or another single. It's here and the doubters can't stay away. Her power.
Nude Beach is the only stinker of the album but I'll take it as a fun track. It really should've been placed on Fantasea 2 as a lead in to Count Contessa since that has a heavily beachy theme.
But **** that when Desperado - Miss A - Miss C are slaying me right now.. like I'm in the middle of their storm.
