Let's put it this way. Madonna automatically has the advantage because her tickets are expensive and a majority of US and International shows are sold-out.

Madonna sold-out Wembley four times in 1987 when ticket prices were a little cheaper than what Gaga is charging now.

Adjusted for inflation M made $4M from those shows ($9M in 2011 gross) with an attendance of 288,000.

Basically, eventually Gaga will RAISE the prices. She will charge higher prices as she advances in her career.
