I have a strong feeling that this is what it's going to look like when Guilty Pleasure comes out.
1. Jonas Brothers
2. Lil Wayne
3. Black Eyed Peas
4. Ashley Tisdale

With this competition I don't see her debuting at #4 unless her single does very well and she does some promo on Disney which I doubt she will do...she will be lucky to get top 10. She will need to have around 100K or over most likely to get a top 5 and I don't see that happening. The only artists Ashley's age that debut around 100K or higher now are people associated with Disney (and are heavily promoted by them) or are established artists on radio and Ashley is neither of those.
Part of the reason Headstrong debuted so high was because she was coming straight off of HSM fame and even then she only made it to 64K that week. Plus album sales are way down...not even Jesse McCartney could make it to 40 K and his single went to #1 on radio.
Plus we have no idea how people are going to react to the fact that she changed her sound for this album. If you change your sound too drastically you will probably lose a few fans.
I'll need to hear her single to reserve my final judgement but she needs that to do well to help her sales if she doesn't plan on doing any Disney promo.
You should be more concerned with her final sales IMO. I want Ashley to have an album with legs over a big opening number...a big opening number would be OK but I perfer legs.
