'Black Star' through 'I Love You' gives me so much life.
Sadly, though, the album goes downhill from there, imo, and she's lost me by the time '4 Real' rolls around.

I believe exactly the opposite. I hate WTH, I dislike Smile, WYWH is ok (but a bit generic) and ILY is meh. SST is good, with that nice "indie" vibe it possesses. The 2nd half of the album is some of her best stuff: Everybody Hurts, Remember When, Not Enough and Darlin are sublime; the only bad thing about Goodbye are the too-basic lyrics, instrumental and production are flawless. 4 Real is nice, not of favorites, though. Alice is really good overall, but the too-loud voice ruins it.
Oh well, there's nothing we can do about it

Wait, what about the prime masterpieces of Goodbye Lullaby, Everybody Hurts and Not Enough? I refuse.

She's doing great in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and South Korea too. Those are big markets in Asia.

I still don't understand why Avril plays plays like 20 dates in Canada where her success was only average this year and wont tour places like Mexico and Australia where she has huge success.
