I loved season 3. I think that one is my favourite. Kari and T.K. should have been the main characters in season 2. Davis was just a copy of Tai.

Ugh I really need to rewatch Seasons 1 and 2. I loved 2 because the originals made guest appearances and Kari / TK were in it. They kinda lost me after those. *and those aren't on Netflix lol*

I know this can't compete with the Pokémon thread, but it was still a great franchise with decent games.

Let's discuss a bit. I loved the Japanese astrology intertwined with season 3.

Tamers and Savers are the best seasons. 1 is good but basic. 2 is just nostalgia, only certain arcs/episodes standout. 4 was a mess and the world agrees. Then, everything after 5 has been a kiddie sized mess.

For me, the seasons I love are the first three.

1 > 2 > 3

4 was okay. Yes, everything after has been a mess. It lost so much of what made it stand out. The characters are a mess. The Digimon are a mess. The only thing I liked about Data Squad was the fact that we got to see Rosemon in action.

I remember watching and loving seasons 1 & 2 as a kid. I cried when the kids boarded that cable car and left their Digimon behind at the end of season 1 (I think). Loved this show to death but the later seasons never aired here.

I remembered being sad as well. Good thing they were able to see them again in season 2. Season 3 ending was heartbreaking. I cried and I still can't watch it without getting sad. The pain was real.

To me, NOTHING comes for S3's iconic wig.

It truly emphitomized what I always believed Digimon to be, a best friend relationship that develop between trouble kids with massive potential and their digital friends, uniquely suited to help them unleash that power.

NO ONE will come for Takato and Guilmon, Henry and Terriermon and Rika and Renamon. Even the secondary tammers were well-fleshed out and boasted with personality and uniqueness.
