100 BEST SONGS EVER · #68 - 65
♫"You bet I totes believed her, yeah, every word she said. Thought he was gluten-free, but all that I got was bread."♫ | 68 · KARMIN, "Acapella"
Debut Date: July 27, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 8 Weeks
Peak Position: #09
I've been a follower of Karmin's releases after "Brokenhearted" smashed incredibly on my countdown (charting for 23 weeks, ranking #4 on the yearend list). For 2013, the duo released a slightly underwhelming follow-up through "Acapella". It actually took me a while to appreciate the song, but Amy's comic vocals brought the song up. Sadly, this is Karmin's sole entry on the list.

♫"I never want it to stop because I don't wanna start all over, start all over. I was afraid of the dark, but now it's all that I want."♫ | 67 · MAROON 5, "Daylight"
Debut Date: January 5, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 4 Weeks
Peak Position: #10
I liked about 95% of Maroon 5 singles but I never became a die hard fan of this band. Sadly, "Daylight" still didn't give me the chance to be one. Wasn't actually got hooked to the song during its early days, but it definitely grew on me a lot after hearing it constantly from my officemates. Definitely not the best Maroon 5 song, but this one seems to be really good. They still got one more to go.

♫"You wanna live fancy. Live in a big mansion. Party in France. You better work b**ch!"♫ | 66 · BRITNEY SPEARS, "Work B**ch!"
Debut Date: October 5, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 12 Weeks
Peak Position: #04
Yes, the hook is so damn catchy but I actually never got addicted to it during its early days. I was actually shocked with how the song performed on my countdown cause it never top a single week on my chart. This song might be underwhelming compared to Britney's previous efforts but I guess it became one of my guilty pleasure this year. Plus, this song empowers me whenever I feel lazy at work.

♫"These lips are missing you cause these lips ain't kissing you. These eyes put up a fight, but once again these tears always win."♫ | 65 · ALICIA KEYS, "Tears Always Win"
Debut Date: June 22, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 6 Weeks
Peak Position: #01[1]
The first chart topper to appear on the yearend list. I've always been a big fan of Alicia Keys and this song is an addition to her awesome catalog. Overflowing emotions, melodramatic lyrics and amazing vocals are the ingredients of this amazing track. Yes, it might not par with "Fallin'" or "If I Ain't Got You", but this one's going to be one of my favorites from Alicia.

2011: DAVID GUETTA f/ RIHANNA, "Who's That Chick"
2010: KE$HA, "Take It Off"
