Maybe she was expecting her current singles to do better on the charts and it might be the reason why she says she doesn't fully believe in the album right now.

I said SNL is (almost) always used as album promo for any artist. Maybe that was the plan when Roc Nation booked SNL cause maybe R8 was supposed to be released in May but maybe it was delayed. Nobody knows what's going on, I'm just speculating like all of y'all.
