In the Metro news report, it says it's "later this year" and "in Philadelphia". Apparently RDaily said it's a summer concert and, tbh, I've seen that same piece of information on other websites talking about this competition.

There's going to be a festival in Philly called the Made In America festival on September 5-6, so she could perform there (the lineup hasn't been announced yet). It would fit the "later this year" description and it's still in the summer but only speculation thus far...

I was laying in bed Sunday after a wonderful weekend and I thought how much she's losing my interest with this album. It has nothing to do with Janet, because who would have thought that she would be releasing this year anyway. She was the only one I was looking forward to for new music and now I'm completely over how this "era" has been handled. This isn't coming out of anger. It's as natural as breathing air. Although I loved the songs from "Home" and what #R8 has to offer(outside of AO), I'm tired of waiting on the actual album. And success isn't a requirement for me when Rihanna has amassed a significant amount over the last ten years. Whatever she has planned didn't pan out how it should be(imo). No song is sticking(although BBHMM still BOPS). There is still no video for BBHMM. It seems like this era is becoming forgettable. I know whenever it comes, I will support it..and EVERYONE will have their say on how it sounds..but I fear if that some people will DRAG it only because it's going on 3 years since an album. It better be worth the wait.

made in America is Jay's festival... maybe its his way to repay her for ruining ha career with this tidal mess... I'm not sure about a summer tour though..I dont think she can sell out in the states an arena tour without an album...

I agree. She doesn't have to go to every TV show to promote, but starting a new era, more akin to her previous ones, could be good.

I have been a loyal stan since RR. I have brought all of her music post RR. I even purchased the HOME soundtrack.

She said "little by little" and that's cute. But with three official singles of your supposed album..with no album cover..no album title(R8 sucks tbh)..no release date..nothing. It's quite frustrating..

Agree 100%. Although I only became a stan during the Loud era, I've always enjoyed her music ever since PDR.

Yeah. I've been enjoying all the music she's put out so far so I've been bopping but it's not exciting anymore and all this silence just makes all of this more frustrating and confusing.

I didn't like her during the first two mixtapes..the Unfaithful video opened my eyes to her because she was gorgeous getting ready to be a thot with another hot man in the video.

Disturbia snapped my neck because it *******.

But "Run This Town" officially kicked off my standom. RR sealed the deal. Loud was good. TTT was great. Unapologetic was EVERYTHING.

And I think this new album will be good, but who knows when it's coming or if it's coming.

I remember watching the PDR video and wondering: "Who's this girl?". Then AGLM came and I was OBSESSED, especially with SOS, Unfaithful, and Break It Off. Would play them over and over. Maybe I was already a stan back then, but I didn't know the concept then.

GGGB was the first album of hers I ever bought (a deluxe edition with a remix bonus disc) and rmember Umbrella and DSTM slaying my soul. Then Disturbia came and I was even more obsessed. It remains my favourite Rih single to this day.

Russian Roulette seemed so strange on the first listen, but I was hooked on the 2nd listen. I think it came out around the same time as Gaga's Bad Romance, right? I remember bopping to the 2 at around the same time.

RB also slayed but the 1-2 punch of OG/WMN and the red hair during the Loud era sealed the deal.

TTT era was a mess but the album is becoming one of my all-time favourites by her.

Yeah, I also think the album is going to be good, so I'm not worried about that. I just wish the era would be going differently.
