There was
literally a year-and-a-half span between 2011 through mid-2012, and I believe a few mods can testify to this, where I was literally swarmed,
heavily, with insults every.single.time I posted my opinion on ATRL about an artist. It was shocking and unbelievable. Every time I logged on, I was insulted, with the most heinous things. You'd think I had called everyone's grandmother a c**t or something, when in reality, all I'd ask would be: "Is Lady Gaga genuine?" And that question alone would yield
constant insults like "Why don't you go f****** kill yourself you diseased rat." It's definitely calmed down since (I don't know if that's because of the server or not). I agree with Jonny in that if you don't want any trouble, then don't go looking for it and if you happen to get "dragged," then you most likely brought it on yourself.
I like giving my opinion on pop culture on ATRL, and I would prefer not to be stoned all the time for it -- I mean, really, are my opinions

personally for an opinion I gave or a thread I started about
an artist or celebrity. You should always be able to give your two cents, but be a man (
or a grown woman) and don't come whining to the mods if you're insulted. It's one of the most juvenile things you could do; they aren't your parents. If only everyone would loosen up and not take ATRL so seriously, we could all have some good ol' fashioned fun.
