This. I'm glad to see the song finally taking off, but how was she and her label to know because weeks ago it did look like DW was dead in the water. I just hate that the song has to be remembered with such a horrible visual.
I think IY will take off slow as well. It just seems like radio is slow to Ariana because they're focused on other artists, and as you said, she is still recovering from donut-gate, which people want to deny made her look really bad because it kind of confirmed what people were saying about her before like she's a bitch and diva. It's one thing to hear about those rumors and another thing to see it. It's kind of a testament to her popularity because anyone else probably would have been done.
