I think when I'm older/more settled, I wouldn't mind living in Asheville. It's such a chill place...it has a very Austin, TX neo hippie type vibe and goodness it's so beautiful there.

Asheville is great.TBH Asheville and Durham(+Chapel Hill) both have similar personalities as the Liberal Foodie type places in NC.) I could retire in Asheville but as far as postgraduate work, I might would settle for the i85 crescent.

I LOVE snow but I HATE the cold.I remember that Ice Storm NC had in 2002, and just a few years ago in 2010 it snowed for the first time ON CHRISTMAS. The chance of that happening in NC is very RARE

If I leave NC, it's probably going to be Virginia, Maryland, or Ohio.
I could NEVER live in Montana, I heard about the crime in both Newark and Chicago so that's a no go for me, but I was impressed at Chicago's skyline when I went through.
Florida and California look like nice places to visit/vacation, but I wouldn't LIVE there.
New York City is a bit too crowded for my tastes, while I LOVE the City, NYC would be way too overwhelming for me.No bueno.

Why the hell would you want to leave Boston and go to North Carolina. They have like 3 traffic lights.

Why would the TENTH most populated state have only 3 traffic lights? If that's the case Georgia only has 3 traffic lights and a roundabout.

Black greek life? The best way to experience that is at HBCUs. You're not going to get the full Divine Nine experience by going to a predominantly white school. We have step shows and events and stuff, but they really go all out at HBCUs. The thing is, most HBCUs are ratchet as hell.
......... At least that's how my own personal experience is. I actually crossed at Albany State which is a HBCU and now I'm at Georgia State University which is a good mix, but mostly white. In comparison to my previous school and the popular HBCUs in Atlanta, which are right around the corner from my school, it pales in comparison.

Almost everybody in my family went to an HBCU, but I don't think I would've fit in at one.
