I've been reading reviews, comments, etc. about the Grammy's. A few notes about Kelly.
The majority thought:
* Kelly slayed her performance and brought the house down with her vocals
* She had the best acceptance speech of the night. (Some thought she was drunk and sobered up for the performance)
* What she said about Miguel was not shade, it was a compliment.
Now about that final note. There was a rapper, Wale, that took offense to Kelly's comment about Miguel, but A LOT of people came to her defense saying that it was a compliment as in "I didn't know who you were but you are great, we should work together". Some people in the Urban/R&B community (who are not necessarily just artists) took offense to that comment, and I think they should really chill out. Plus, Miguel actually talked to Kelly backstage, they took pictures and actually agreed to working together sometime, so no harm, he's a good sport.
