WHAT? DWYT is NOT trash! It's a nice album trash. Obviously the decision to release it as a single was the label and not Kelly herself to save to album from the abyss, being a remaining song being slightly radio friendly and all.
And can we stop putting My December on a pedestal, it's really not that great It has a few amazing songs and bad ones as well. Not everything Kelly does is perfect.
DYWT is lame and generic but I'd take it over Scared of the Dark anyday I have no idea why people got excited at that demo
A Sober video would have slayed lives, especially if she actually used a storyline or did something other than flip her hair.
She wouldn't have done anything epic tho. She would have been singing in her walmart attire walking through a field picking weeds and keeping flowers for 4 minutes

I dont put it on a Pedestal. I rarely listen to MD. But I love all the songs. Theyre just not jams.

Let me explain it to you guys. The song hasn't done any better. The recent pop updates were deceiving. One week the song has week updates because it faced strong updates because of the week before. That's basically the songs run. One week bad updates, and the next week good updates because it overtook the week before and then the next week it gets bad again, and the week after that good again.

Conclusion: The song only receives good updates when it did poorly the week before. The spin updates simply represent how much more or less the song was played in the last week. Thursday it got played six times less then last week's Thursday (hence the -6 update).
This week we had huge updates, so that means next week we are going to get a lot of terrible updates.

The song won't go top 10 on pop if it continues it's run like this.
