Besides, this single is to get across to a different audience of people, not many of which listen to KISS.

Besides, KISS is certainly reluctant to play her in the first place. The extra effort couldn't hurt that much. We don't want what happened to TEOG w/z100 to happen (They decide to put it in power rotation after the song has peaked everywhere else, etc,..).
I don't think her peak will be affected too much by any of this (or the amount of performances, etc,..).
When people hear the song on radio, they'll either decide to buy it or not. Having any extra exposure couldn't hurt.
