I literally can't think of any aspect that Taylor has a leg up on Carly, not musically. Taylor can't write any lyrics without turning them into a treacly diary entry, can't compose a melody that actually goes anywhere, can't sing a note that isn't eardrum-rupturingly thin, and can't seem to show a personality beyond "vapid, whiny teenager."
Sure, she can sell an album, but that says more about the state of modern teenagers than anything.
Her vocals once at wetten dass were so utterly bad that it was almost memorable again.
So transparent.
