Avril was / is huge in Japan, so Epic knew their promo would bring cash back to them. Ciara's album sales are not as certain, so they won't risk all that money for travelling expenses, dancers, musicians and booking high profile events.

Her first week sales are going to be a mess, but as long as she and Epic don't give up on the album I think she'll be ok. I personally don't care for the album as a whole, but she def. has 2 or 3 songs that could be hits.

I'm not mad at "I Bet" being the lead because it's a cute song, although I will say it was stupid of her to release that song and then do a bunch of interviews and be all mute in regards to her and Future's breakup. I get it, you don't wanna be negative or shady because you're in a good space and that's your sons father, but GIRL. Your lead single is about him and his aint **** ways. She didnt have to be all K. Michelle, but at least give us a little incite on the break-up and then spin it in your favor by being relatable and all "girl power," "know your worth," "don't settle."

anyway, I think she could turn this era around by pushing "Dance Like We're Making Love" and then "Kiss & Tell" after it. Both need good videos and good promo.

Mmm I can't imagine this era getting a third single...or even a proper push with the second single. I find it insane that Jackie is launching off the back of a song released in January that hasn't exactly set the charts alight.

I mean as long as they give her another album I'm fine with the numbers anyway. I don't think her eras are very expensive, I mean I'm pretty sure most of these tracks are leftovers (no shade but lbr) and it's not like she has a heavy promo schedule this time

It's disappointing because you can see that she loves making music (great music at that) whether it does or doesn't sell. it's sad that this is just another underrated gem in her discography.

Stream the album on spotify on repeat and get her some streaming sales at least guys. That's really the only way you'll be able to save the sales a bit. It won't even take a lot of effort so no excuses tbh

I don't really know tbh, I feel like right now I like Jackie more since it's fresh in my mind. Some of the songs on Jackie really hit me hard on 1st listen though, I think Only One might be 1 of my fave songs by her

I love this album so much. I love every single song. It's been so long I could say that about an album. I've only been streaming it on Spotify, but I'll buy it now for sure.
