I know he has a certain amount of control, and he certainly calls all the shots in the studio, but he doesn't make himself known outside of that arena. I'd rather he exert his dominance behind the scenes than attempt to ride on the coattails of whatever it-girl he's working with and achieve his own degree of fame/notoriety. He's famous/notable within the industry, and that's good enough for him. I appreciate that.

I'm lost after reading everyone's response.I love Rihanna like no other and dread the day she's no longer making music but really this song has like twenty words max that are just repeated over and over. This is the LEAD single? I'm completely disappointed by the lack of originality which I've come to expect from her. I mean could they have not even tried to rhyme something with "place"? Ill support it because its Rihanna but if this is the best I'm already over it.
