I was outraged () when Adam lost. I didn't even consider the possibility of him losing, I just thought it was known he'd win. Kris is just... ugh.
I like what Phillip does to songs, I like his sincerity. I believe him when he sings and he's been pretty original as far as Idol contestants go. I just don't immediately cling to the vocalist of the season. I've failed to consistently connect with Jessica, which to me is what it's all about. Joshua really won me over and connected, so did Skylar. I don't think it's really Jessica's fault, she's young, but I think she's been a bit consumed in singing the song technically perfect that it's just beyond connecting. It's happened a few times though!
I'll be happy if she wins, she'll be a great Idol, but Phillip's got talent too.
I get what you mean. There are some of her performances that I didn't use but did you notice they had to sing like 3 songs each night for the past 6-7 shows? When Adam, Katharine, Carrie and Kelly were contestants they didn't have to sing that much and again like you just said Jessica is very young. She's still learning her flaws and her strengths and she's under a lot of pressure. She still deserves to win in my opinion. I don't care all that much about who wins which night but about the artist that I will most likely listen to when their albums are out. And that's Jessica.

She eliminated once... I don't get it, why she needs to win? Whatever, I know she is the one who's gonna win anyway. Such a shame.

But, she is young and still has time to grow and find herself.
Cute! But I'm going to need her to not write or produce her own tracks. She's still stuck in the early 00s as far as her original song. I'm not impressed by her now, but there is no doubt that by the time she is 26 she will be a beast on the stage. I could see myself stanning for her years down the line.
