The other day I came back to my hometown and saw my HS crush on street. I was looking like a mess so I tried to avoid, but I noticed that I was caught and my crush was waiting on the corner like wanted to talk with me, so I just turned back

The thing is that this evening my crush started talking to me by WA (we didn't talk since HS ended, I didn't even know he kept my number) out of nowhere and I was like... I didn't know what to say and got excited at the same time, but ended the conversation quickly. I don't know what to think, while we were young we were always fighting but the last months of HS we got along pretty well, I started helping him with homework and talk about girlfriends and guy stuff. When I graduated he even moved seats so we could be together in all the photos. At the party I was a drunk mess and ended cackling with him (I don't remember about what but we were dying ) and we drank more, I even started singing Government Hooker to him but I don't think anyone reminds that now
Well I got kind of touchy with him that night but got lost in the crowd and never seen eachother until this summer, he was waiting for me near where I live and just wanted to talk about how things were going, and we never talked again.

One day I invited him to come home with me (I was planning to ask him if something was up and if he liked me, have a good time toghether that day) and when he was sitting on my bed he asked me "are you going to this party next weekend? I was wondering if we would meet there" and I said "yes, I'm going with this girl, I hope we see eachother there mate" and as soon as I said that, he said in the most monotone voice ever "ok, well, i have to go now, bye" and rushed to the door All You Had To Do Was Stay teas

Sorry for the paragraph, but at this point I don't know what to do. I don't know what to think. I don't want get my hopes up for nothing and think that every guy that wants to talk with me wants more than a friendship, but some signs are there, idk. I was ready to move on from this crush earlier this month but then again today we talked again.

Well, I'm not actually gay, idk what I am yet There's always been rumours about me being gay and he called me ****** when we were younger, nothing more than that. Well, the year before I started to get along with my crush, his best friend was flirting with me and well, one of the times he got touchy with me he kind of noticed I was into him, he could have told my crush.

He was always talking about his sex experiences and we would talk about girls a lot and I always was like "I don't like any girl in HS I wish I could meet someone that I truly like" with him. I said that I was going with this girl (everyone knew that I liked her at that time) so I could say to him that I finally met someone. But I didn't like her more that I liked him I just couldn't wait for him to make his move. And it's not like he was going to go alone, he's popular and has a lot of friends. Anyway, like I said, we met at the party, got touchy, drunk and everything but again, he suddenly changed his ways and was like "well, i want to get laid tonight and that girl seems pretty, see you later". It's like when we get too close, his brains reminds him that he's doing something wrong

EDIT: Just to clarify, he isn't homophobe per se, he has stated several times that he doesn't mind gay people if they aren't flaming, glitter consuming, extremely femenine boys. I talk a lot with his parents everyday I'm home and they don't seem homophobe either. His grandma is an homophobic mess tho, some guy posted on my crush FB profile that he looked cute in one pic and his grandma started saying things that "get away, my grandson is nothing like you, don't ever say that to him again, he loves GIRLS"
