Oh boy, Joanne’s going to be great, right? We’re all going to love it and want to hear all of its tracks at a massive live television event, right? Great, perfect, because following the announcement of her upcoming album last week, word is out that Lady Gaga will perform the halftime show at Super Bowl LI. US Weekly announced today that Gaga will headline Super Bowl 2017, though there's no word as to whether Gaga will be joined by any other acts, Coldplay/Beyonce-style. It seems likely Gaga will be joined by other musicians, maybe a few of her collaborators like Florence Welsh or Beck or something, so that'll be good, right? Right. "Perfect Illusion" is great, so. You know what? It's all going to be fine.

The Super Bowl is almost 100% confirmed at this point. It always gets confirmed once the deal starts to leak. And seeing as no other artists are being discussed (unlike Katy, who was almost passed over in favor of Rihanna or Coldplay), it's nearly a done deal.
Gaga's just waiting on a suitable price tag for her talents.
I can definitely see the NFL stacking a number of co-performers on the card when they discern that Gaga isn't in enough demand to administer an entire show on her own.
Not denouncing her ability to perform, but most people just aren't interested.
LG5 is going to flop, I'm accepting it already. The lead single sucks and Interscope's trying to get the album in people's hands quickly. But that's okay because Gaga is filming her potentially OSCAR-WINNING MOVIE next year, and most likely headlining the SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW. Even when she loses, she wins. Ahhhh my ****ing fave
