College will be the best time of your life.. What are you pulling to major in?
I don't see what reason there is to be sad. High School friends are disposable for almost everybody. I may miss my brother but other than that, the independence, the freedom from my african parents oppression to do whatever drug and person I please. Meeting people on my level. I'm ready.

Like Damien said, you'll def make new friends in college. Plus, you'll probably have more similar interests with them than the ones you have now. That's how it worked for me.
