Why anyone that is black, gay, a woman, and poor/middle-class would vote for a Republican is beyond me, but okay.

What about that should be appealing to blacks?
Hillary, say what you want about her, is the only candidate really reaching out to blacks. Actually meeting with the mothers/families of victims of police brutality, shouting out HBCUs in speeches (showing she's "down") and actually unveiling an HBCU 25B initiative, actually holding events targeted towards blacks, spending more time in the South than anybody else, not trying to silence BLM activists when confronted etc.
I wouldn't use "pander", but don't say no dems are reaching out to blacks.

Role of Uncle Tom? That's kinda racist for you to say. And not every black person supports BLM.
And again no party is going to waste time trying to appeal to voters who automatically dismiss them. Some GOP people like Rand Paul and Trump have been trying to reach out to no avail. Who cares if a politician likes you, they'll still do what you want them to do if they think they can earn your support.

It's not racist to say someone is acting like an Uncle Tom, sorry
And uhh, not every black person has to support BLM. Why do you take everything at surface level? Jesus christ. The point was that when these are the sentiments you see about black people - and movements aimed at the advancement of black people -, you're not going to feel compelled to listen to these people.

What exactly has he done that you would consider being an Uncle Tom. Let's get specific.

Liberals call every Conservative black an Uncle Tom then expect them to pander to them?
BTW you are probably the only person here that seems to get the concept of self disenfranchisement.

It may not look like it now, but 50 years from now we're going to reflect back and think wow, he really did do a lot with the tea party out to impeach him, repeal Obamacare, etc.

He will be known as the best gun sales president in history.

Well yeah, considering most conservative blacks endorse policies that will harm the black community at large.

Yeah, I don't think Blacks (or anyone) should vote Republican if they don't agree with policy, but we only have two major parties in this country.

I agree, but if you never give the other party a look they will never expect your vote. I'm not saying every black should always vote one way or the other but it does not serve them to be predictable.

The Republicans actually lost seats on your six-year-itch in the house and the Senate, -8 and -2 respectively only to gain them back in 2014 +13 House and + 9 Senate. On a state level the Republican have been solid.
I don't expect Republicans to gain in the House next year it would be crazy if they did and they will have a hard time holding the Senate but I think they might do it. Everyone seems to only be talking about the 6 vulnerable Republican seats when there are also 2 vulnerable Democrat seats.

The presidents party typically loses or (at least loses seats). That's just how it goes. Like a pendulum. I think Bush was the only one who escaped the curse because of 9/11, they liked the way he handled it so he didn't become an unpopular president as fast.
If you are going to emphasis numbers at least consider the context behind them. 21 gain is large. Seeing as GOP lost 2 seats when Bush was leadership, and when Clinton was leader, Democrats lost 9. When it was Michael Dukakis, Democrats only gained 2. Yes, 21+ is enormous.
I believe most if not all, were swing states seeing as Democrats had already gains of 32 in 2006, with that kind of momentum they were bound to have a mighty fall.
The fall doesn't indicate anything negative concerning Obamas leadership skills or capability as a President. Even this day people are blaming Obama and democrats for 2008 economic crisis. He had a lot working against him and the rest of the party

A mighty fail is what they had. Obama pushed Obamacare on the nation when the majority of the nation did not want it. That is why he lost congress. Ted Kennedy's seat went to a Republican, that is how badly they wanted to stop the bill. Now Obamacare is starting to fall apart. His foreign policy is a joke and we have not had so many people out of work since the 70's. There is some context.

No...the black community should be no different than white, hispanic, or asian communities who teach their children responsibility and upward mobility. The ghetto culture of some black communities is a cancer that holds the black youth back, thus repeating the cycle for their children.
They have to take initiative to improve themselves... no politician is going to save the poor blacks, in fact the politicians want them to stay poor so they have to depend on government.

It's not really that stupid, no one should wait for a or expect a politician to help them. If you are in the mindset then you are ignorant. If the past has not shown you this the last 7 years should have opened your eyes.
All people should take the initiative to improve themselves and that starts with good parenting.
