TEOG is a catchy radio friendly song. I wonder went wrong? The problem is her songs don't appeal to a large enough radio audience. She doesn't have any rhythmic or urban support. It's pure, unadulterated pop.
What about adult radio? Perhaps not as big as rhythmic or urban, but still big enough. There have only been a few pop crossovers to urban radio.

They've been targeting that very well this era which I would say is smart. Adult radio is very loyal to its artists - they saved Kelly Clarkson's single from being a forgotten flop.

It peaked at #3 because it was stuck behind "Party Rock Anthem" and "Rolling in the Deep" which were huge. And it had tons of longevity. What are you talking about?
