I'm sure most of us understand!

Like when the cover was released I needed like a 3 day detox from Rihanna because the more I looked at it, the less I could delude myself into thinking I could bare that it would symbolise the whole next era and my 12 months of stanning

Well personally I never hated it, I mean it's a nice enough picture. Just when you expect something completely different and get thrown off guard like that - everyone has their own idea of a perfect era, or a new direction, and it's just a shock sometimes when you don't get given that. It just made me need the smallest break.

It's Rihanna's life though so obviously we just learn to respect her artistic direction eventually.

I understand. I don't love the picture, but I don't hate it. I will say that it didn't really make a strong impression on me, which isn't great, but it's not lessening my excitement for the album or this era.

With Diamonds as lead and these producer but you get that cover

I've grown to like the cover. I think she could have toned it down with all those titles on her body, but overall, I actually really like it.

Hmmm yeh. I agree the cover doesn't necessarily have to represent the full era, or make a huge impression to us. And to be honest any of us can just make our own..
Personally I just think really visually and for some reason the cover means a lot to me.

It's interesting though because the tracklist has the potential for so many surprises. And especially with the producers we could get given anything. So this era's direction is still very up in the air and pretty exciting
