I know what happened in the book. Sansa isn't Jeyne. D&D deemed Jeyne's character irrelevant and her plot unimportant so they cut her out of the show. So why keep her rape sub-plot at all? What was so special about it to them that they had to keep it and give it to Sansa?

But it's whatever, all I hope now is Sansa gets rescued/gets her revenge. She's deserve that much.

This isn't about Sansa (yeah I know how that sounds), the whole Winterfell plot is about Ramsay and them showing us how awful he is.
And if we want Sansa to do something to Ramsay, she needs a motive. Now she has one.
Maybe these recent events are the things that will make her transform from a pawn to a game maker.

We already knew how awful and sadistic Ramsey was and Sansa already had enough motive. His family killed her mother and brother and stole her home.
