Not only is it not underperforming, it's very successful. No other artist at this moment would be able to accomplish that with a soundtrack.
People have ridiculously high expectations for Adele, and even when she meets the most insane ones (topping 50 countries with a soundtrack), it's still not enough for some. People claiming this is underperforming (granted there aren't that many) are just trolling.
