I've never heard it talked about / referenced / anything except for when Whitney died and all her songs were being talked about.

It was a radio flop. It peaked at #38 on Airplay. It only went Top 20 because the good sales when it was released to stores since it was from two huge Pop Girls.
But even then it fell off the charts quickly.

of her songs. That's mostly due to the fact that it was from The Prince of Egypt, but still.
