Idk if I want a hardcore rap album or if anybody does honeslty. Only her fans want that and the GP won't give her her props anyway. itll be nice to see her just spitting but Nicki has never done that in any musical project and it's sorta out of the way for her. I'm here for her experimenting alla Drake with Controlla , One Dance etc. if she makes good catchy music people will bop and it'll do good on the charts automatically.

So why did all the urban singles from TPP do better than the pop ones?

If the only streaming platform that NM4 will be available on in it's first week is Tidal and it leaks before it comes out on Tidal, that would even worsen her sales.

No shade to Tidal because I have an account, but obviously no one is here for it. If Tidal had an effect on Lemonade, ANTI & TLOP (all artists that have better sales than Nicki), then I can only assume that it'd have a worse effect on NM4's sales.

Tidal had an effect on ANTI and TLOP because the former was given away 1M times and the latter is still not even on iTunes.

We'll have to see if it has an effect on Lemonade. But I thought it would've been on iTunes by now, so I take back that I want a similar release.

Nicki doesn't need to do a traditional release for the next album. It doesn't make any sense in 2016, and Nicki's big enough to open with at least +150K with a non-traditional release.

Her traditional releases get boggled down by long delays and confusion.

She'd need to do a different form of a release in order to still do well. That Samsung deal was a complete joke.

A tidal exclusive could be cute.
