Splatoon there are more discounts out now, and the amount of dlc still coming is great. Mario Maker is brand new and there will be better levels as time goes on
My older brother and I played SMM in front of our family ranging 55 years and everyone was so into it and fascinated. Even those who don't game often wanted to make levels. Nintendo her casual power.
I will probably end up getting a Wii U this Winter, sometime after Christmas. Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame V, and Splatoon have all won me over.
Yesterday I got Olimar and Ganondorf, and today my mom surprised me with Dr. Mario and Zero Suit Samus. I just need Bowser Jr. (who seems to still be left in some Toys R Us') and I'll complete wave 5 (my first complete wave!)
I just want Amiibo for the decorative aspect, the only one I absolutely have to have is Ness because of my love for Earthbound. The rest, I'll just grab when I see them.
I didn't expect the two screens to bother me as much as they do, especially when they both have the same thing on them and I wish I could focus on the larger, higher quality one but there's a very minor mechanic that requires me to keep looking down. I'm being forced into playing some games completely off tv, when I don't want to. This is mostly all at Captain Toad, maybe the feel is different with other games.

It was off-putting to me too, I'm surprised there isn't a feature to turn off the gamepad screen and use it as a standard controller. I had a hard time trying to focus while playing Smash because I kept looking at both screens.
