California Gurls is acceptable only because it was a tribute to the singer (or writer? or Both..) of "September Gurls", who died just before CG came out.
It was California Girls before then.
Hot N Cold is annoying more because the song is "You're Hot then You're Cold" rather than "Hot and Cold" than the N, n's common outside text speak anyway with Fish N Chips and stuff..
