But that's not true, Kylie found him on Myspace when he was unknown, she worked with him and passed him along to her contacts and he started getting work. The first ever magazine article to mention Calvin called her "Kylie's producer, previously unknown Calvin Harris". After this he started getting buzz and he put his Myspace songs onto his debut album and released it.
And his first 2 eras were huge in the UK, before WFL came along. Really, WFL only launched him in the U.S. But if you were going to credit anyone with his career it'd be Kylie, since there wouldn't even be a WFL if it wasn't for her. |
tbh the first time I heard of him was Feel So Close and not WFL. But yeah, he was known in the UK before then
