S&M remix pushed the song to #1 in the US, which is why it was recorded in the first place. Of course it's not going to have longevity when the original S&M has already been released for a while and topped a lot of the charts WW.
Her voice usually doesn't sound so nasally though. I think she was sick during that time, in her interviews she sounded terrible and not like herself as well.
