I agree with all of this. Liam's dad is... Yeah. His mum is kind of cute but she seems to be rather clueless too. Niall's family always seem so nice too but I'm not sure how familiar they are with social issues since he rarely comments on anything outside golf.

Louis seems (from TIU anyway) to come from a place that loves the gays, the north of England, so I can totally get why he understands a bit more. My nan comes from the north in the same area as Louis and she loves them too. You can just tell all the older women are desperate for him to be their camp grandson and I love it.

Harry is the smartest of them all, he's so well educated and cultured also. He knows a lot about a lot of things, especially music history, so yeah. Liam also could be very smart but I think his upbringing is the reason he has moments of ignorance. Louis is very witty and Niall is Niall. so yeah. Didn't mean for this to turn into an essay.

I found their music on pandora the same year they reunited and I started listening to most of their discography. And then just as I stan a little they go and break up Thats what I get for stanning for a group.

Cheryl is the reason I knew about 1D back in 2010. I watched X Factor UK because of her. They thanked her in the UAN booklet + as I already said Liam co-wrote on her last album. Drag her down all you want but you can't say they're not affiliated

Cheryl is great, and Girls Aloud are iconic in the UK. The group has some amazing bops as does her solo work. She's also got a great personality and iconic .gif potential (clearly).

I feel like Louis is honestly the most well adjusted if that is possible. Sure there is drama, but that is because he intelligent enough to have opinions. You cannot be a well adjusted person and not even want to express you opinions.

He doesn't seem desperate for people to like him or to have a solo career. He just does his thing and has a good time, while still making sure to give back to the community.

Niall's family sadly fit the Irish stereotypes quite well. A bunch of nice but clueless rural yokels. I bet the kid had never left his county before going to the X-Factor. And the brother Greg is just an absolute idiot.

Louis is very passionate about his local town. It's nice that unlike the other two he doesn't fit the stereotype of the area from which he originates. You know how they often paint Northerners as being oblivious if not stupid compared to Southerners. And while I think Louis has quite a few faults, being stupid isn't one of them.

You consistently spill the tea (I do love that about Liam though, it causes many kii-worthy moments, especially in the early days. He's calmed it now though thank god. ).

I didn't want to say about stereotypes but yeah I agree with Niall being the classic Irishman, and his brother is an idiot, you're absolutely right. I had the misfortune of visiting his Twitter recently to see her had over 1m followers with tweets that were absolutely terrible.

Louis represents the North of England really well, contradicting the 'skinhead' stereotype of a lot of Northern boys his age and his well-spokeness and quick wit show how intelligent he really is. His charity work is amazing too. Obviously recent events aren't great but that was bound to happen to one of them at some point, Louis' got a thick skin to deal with it though, thank god. At least it wasn't Niall.

I agree actually. Louis has handled fame really well, and I think he is the most well versed in it now. You may argue Harry deals the best with controversy and drama, but sometimes passive aggressive tweets and such aren't always the best way forward. Sometimes tackling the issue head on is the best way and I think Louis knows when to open his mouth and when not to most of the time.
