On celebrity big brother, all housemates get an individual guaranteed cash payment (eg. it was rumoured David Gest will receive £600,000), however if they leave the house or get removed for breaking the rules, they don't get their money

On the non-celebrity version, there is a cash prize (think £150,000) that only the winner receives, and it is for them not charity
