So yes I went to go and watch Mama in the cinemas last night It's actually a really good film... my favourite part was the part where Mama wasn't happy and she was chasing the girls round the house I can see what some people mean about the ending being ****... I mean it wasn't the best ending but it could've been worse... I'd give it a 7/10

I watched it last night as well. Didn't post bout it cuz i don't think is a horror movie. BUT this time..**** what the "critics " said the movie was amazing. I was at the edge of my seat the whole movie tbh.

People expect some s**ty generic ending where Mama took her own baby and go away.....

The ending fits perfectly to what the movie wants to discuss about: "whether parental love, for both the good and the ill, has the power?"

FINALLY someone who agrees with me on Cabin In The Woods. I really dont get what's so special about it. I found it incredibly stupid and one of the worst "horror" movies I've ever seen.
If you want real horror/black comedy kind of film, that should be Drag Me To Hell and the upcoming horror event of the year, Evil Dead

Evil Dead has 7.9 on IMDB based on 26 critics' reviews, from the time it premiered in varoius places. Also has 76% on Rotten Tomatoes. I pray it doesn't go down when it's out in theaters.

Won't bother putting the spoiler tag, because this is basically the premise of the movie. Doesn't spoil anything: The beginning takes place right after the original, in 1974. The police arrive and all, and there's a big massacre of the family & friends that are related to Leatherface. One baby survives, and two of the people that killed its family take her and raise her.
It then skips to 2012 where the child (now known as Heather) discovers where she came from, and discovers her last living blood relative has died, and she gathers her friends and goes to Texas to inherit the relative's house... with a certain someone still living in it

50 years from now, people will be criticizing the "effects" of movies that are made in our time. You have to see it more for what it is in its time rather than how it compares to movies today, because that's just not fair. Technology is different.

I don't like CiTW either, it's a joke to me and a shame they've made a movie like that in 2012....

I didn't like Sinister either though.. well, I disliked the ending.

Finally got around to watching VHS. Not great, but not bad. It had some pretty good stories in it. Still looking forward to the sequel.
