I'm not going to get into a discussion about this because I truly do not care, but I wanted to honor the fact that at least you responded to my data Even if it is to confirm what I suspected: charts are just numbers, and it's people's collective FEELING that a song is a success or not which matters.
Case in point, Marry the Night, which I also thought was a flop (just like You and I), but clearly the chart would prove me wrong.
Whereas GMAYL to me is a success because I love it and I see people at the club loving it too all the time. And perhaps if I were in another country where Madonna is THE QUEEN, then the feeling would be even more obvious.
Generally, people are laughing at how bad GMAYL is. You are deluded if you think this song did anything positive for her career.
