only songs that have spent 20+ on the hot 100 will need enough points to rank in the upper 1/2

Taylor, PSY, and 1D are the top big sellers of the week thus far. passing up the latter two was already impressive, and she's about to dethrone Taylor in a matters of minutes/hours. how's that shameful? Adele wasn't EXPECTED to fly to #1. she doesn't have a Taylor Swift or Justin Bieber-sized fanbase.

More precise her fanbase is not the one that will try to by song in first minute of it's release.
