Hello Sistrens. I'm working my way through Mariah's discography in full for the first time ever in my 26 years on this planet.

So far I've listened to Mariah Carey and 6 songs into Emotions.

SO FAR I like:
Send from Up Above
Prisoner [Is this her rapping?]
Make It Happen [Her voice at the end

Noticing she fades her songs out with her high pitch note in a few songs. Thought it would be a pattern, but maybe only 2-3 songs.

I'll update in the future with my thoughts. Maybe I'll convert to a Mariah stan

Wow, what an iconic week for her catalog. This is probably one of my favourite albums of hers. I literally play it back to front on the regular without skipping. It helps that it contains one of my favourites in Make It Happen.
