Sorry, said that wrong. It is possible to sing a high C and not go into the whistle register, but it's completely possible to go into the whistle register without going above E6.

Ok, that's more like it. Yes, it's indeed possible. But just a head's up. Head voice is a far more connected register than whistle, whistle can't really be called a connected register. Also, it's far more impressive to hit a A6 in head voice than whistle. On the other hand, it would be more impressive to do a Bb5 in whistle. However, the head voice option would sound 10x fuller.

Kelly's pure head voice is magical. Perhaps the fullest and clearest since Mariah in her prime, maybe even better.

Maybe Carrie is following Scotty because she/her team wants her to be connected with all the current Country artists? Makes sense to me. I don't really think Kelly/Carrie have any kind of friendship going but I think the rivalries are more amongst the fanbases. Kelly has done nothing but praise Carrie and is even covering one of her songs on tour, so I don't think there's any issue on Kelly's end. If Carrie has a problem, that's her biz. Let's not spread rumors though.

i noticed that too.. they never really seem to interact or even talk about each other (except when Kelly sings I Know You Won't, but she barely acknowledges Carrie) .. there aren't even any pictures of just the two of them together

i was thinking about it and I've always heard that Carrie is kind of a bitch and Kelly has always said she dislikes people who are mean/rude.... i think Carrie probably said something to or in front of Kelly that made Kelly dislike her
