So what is it then? We are okay with some charts but not with others?
I'm not going to get into a discussion about this because I truly do not care, but I wanted to honor the fact that at least you responded to my data
Even if it is to confirm what I suspected: charts are just numbers, and it's people's collective FEELING that a song is a success or not which matters.
Case in point, Marry the Night, which I also thought was a flop (just like You and I), but clearly the chart would prove me wrong.
Whereas GMAYL to me is a success because I love it and I see people at the club loving it too all the time. And perhaps if I were in another country where Madonna is THE QUEEN, then the feeling would be even more obvious.
