It's funny how Drake was almost begging for a #1 single after his birthday last year, but he only got it after Rihanna's birthday, while she's was not giving a single **** to promote this. Aubrih are made to be together!!!

He's now one of the few people that had a top 10 as a solo artist ("This Is Me") and with two different bands (Jonas Brothers and DNCE).

*giggles hysterically* So let me get this straight. #1 album, #1 single, more dates to be announced for the Anti Tour and 1.7 million purchased albums WW. I mean, what is there left to say?
Success will remain sugary sweet and Jealous will remain a bitter treat. *giggles on the floor hysterically*

She might as well rename 'Anti' as 'Oops... I Did It Again!'
Edit: Haters will say that "The Monster" was also only #1 because of Eminem.

Wow, awesome for Rihanna! I'll admit I'm not a massive fan of Work, but Anti itself is great and it's awesome to see her shutting up the haters like this. And if she blocks Flo, that's just a bonus at this point!
Cool for DNCE too, their EP is solid.
Hope to see One Call Away, 7 Years, When We Were Young, and SITWYM top 10 soon!

I can tell you "Girl Crush" did not re-enter the Top Ten on BB's Hot Country Songs this week, even though the song clearly had the sales and streaming points to do so. GC jumped 39-1 on Country Digital Songs with 49,000 copies and jumped 20-6 on Country Streaming Songs. Clearly GC should've been back in the Top Ten. "Take Your Time," jumped 26-7 on Country Digital Songs and held at #3 with a bullet on Country Streaming Songs. TYT was more borderline than GC as far as re-entering the Top Ten. But GC clearly got robbed.
"Heartbeat" climbs to #2 on Hot Country Songs, knocking "Break Up In A Small Town" out of the runner up spot after at least 10 weeks, and #3 on Country Airplay. HB looks likely to be the next #1 on Country Airplay, and whether it's next week or the week after depends on how fast the format drops "Dibs." Kelsa is the first female in 15 years to take her first two songs to #1 on BB's Country Airplay. I had assumed Carrie did, but I guess the follow up to "Jesus Take The Wheel" must have stalled at #2.
"Home Alone Tonight" drops 2-4 on Country Airplay after two weeks at #1 and 3-4 on Country Songs after several weeks at #3. With "Backroad Song" also only falling to #2, I'm hoping Country radio is finally starting to drop its hit songs slower again. The last four or five #2s all spent two weeks in the Top Ten after peaking, and just last year a song could be bulleted at #2 one week and Recurrent the next, and #1s would barely stay in the Top Ten! I hope I am not speaking too soon either, as I am happy to finally see this slowdown on that chart! BB just hosted the Country Radio Seminar, and there may have been an agreement there to start holding onto the big hits longer again (I hope).
"Die A Happy Man" spends a 15th week at #1 on Country Songs and falls 6-8 on Country Airplay, in its amazing FOURTEENTH WEEK in the Top Ten there (which hasn't happened since 2011). I hope DAHM can get one more Top Ten week, but a four week drop still ties the slowest fall from #1 on BB dating back at least 4 years. "Need You Now" spent an incredible (for 2009-10) SIXTEEN WEEKS in BB's Country Airplay Top Ten, and should have reached 18 weeks (one week less before #1 and three more after hitting #1) if BB did not have the strange rule of removing songs when they fall out of the Top Ten in detections, even though the chart is audience based (which makes no sense). NYN might have spent SIX MONTHS at #1 on Hot Country Songs, or more than "Cruise," had that chart been introduced in 2009 instead of 2012.

Get over it people, millions of people all over the world love this song. I hated We Found Love, and you hate Work. That's how it goes. Move on, find another song to like and root for.
I don't know what will replace Work at #1. I think it might be 7 Years, it probably won't do that well on Youtube streaming but could be huge on sales, airplay and On-Demand.

I was there backing you up. I knew this song would smash.
